UnB = Unbreakable. Maybe you didn't understand what I meant.
|
Ah. Right. So then Unbreakable is included in the kind of things that shows me how to become amazing at life and if i don't do it it my own damn fault. Well, my thoughts on applicable stuff in Unbreakable is repeated twice above. I was already working on my career and enjoying my hobbies before and Unbreakable doesn't tell me anything about how to do those things. Would seem to be out of scope anyway, by quite a bit.
But, perhaps things will become clearer with this next little thing just below...

To put it to work, take the concepts presented and use it as a way to measure the different aspects of your life.

I don't understand what this means. Can you give an example?

I think i'm already pretty self-aware, but sure i'll try it. What does being set free mean in this context?

Yeah, sorry i started out with the troll-calling first thing... Oh wait.

Well QFT, i guess, kind of. But you know, it was just an observation. Let's leave it in the rear-view mirror.
I haven't been able to watch your video response yet, i'll reply to it when i have.
Cheers!

Here's quick example. In part 6, one of the topics covered is permission factors. Really try to think about what permission factors you live your life by. By putting it under a magnifying glass, you become more aware of it and it will be easier for you to determine what you want to keep and what you want to retire. Do the same with everything else they cover in UnB. Hope this helps!

Hey man, you can feel however you want for the video aspect of it, but you cannot deny the quality in Ignite Your Night and Bar to the Bedroom. They don
't push any products on you in those and they apply everything from the videos. Those videos alone are worth more than $50.
The videos provide nice lecture, reminding me of college classes. Yes, they may refer to other classes, but that is only if you need specific skills worked on. If you need help with openers, check out Say Hello as one example. Unbreakable is about confidence and while he doesn't teach you a step by step on how to be confident, he does teach you how to enjoy your own life to the fullest. That in itself creates a foundation of confidence. Also if you plan on giving up on this amazing product you should wait until Christian redoes the videos. He plans on adding new material and so you can be assured that you will be getting more then your moneys worth.
I agree with said above, you aren't giving it a real chance. I listen to the audio from the lecture during my long drives back and forth between home home and campus and believe me they are beneficial. Don't take my word for it, ask everyone else who has Unbreakable...

Hey, so this is suggestion for Christian and Nick regarding Unbreakable:
I've noticed people saying that one of the things on Say Hello is that for every day of videos/lectures there's a homework assignment. Now i don't have Say Hello, but I do have Unbreakable and I think that for the New version of UnB, it would be awesome to have several homework assignments that really make all the viewers have to really get out there and learn, with no excuses.
That would be awesome if you could add something like that.
Thanks,
Drew

or you could do a 30 day training program and title it "Rules of the Game". That's always an option too.
(I'm being sarcastic. Not a bad idea though ablosser, I would definitely benefit from something like that.)

I second that.
I thought the same thing while watching Unbreakable, I mean I had heard so much about Say Hello homework.
Since Christian will be re-recording UnB, might as well come up with some trials or assignments.

ahmedgottliebchan,
Well, i put some thought into those things in relation to myself when i first took part of this... But i went back now and pondered a bit more - permission factors, intent, feedback threshold, emotional state, personal style. And well... I don't know, no shocking insights. I guess i know pretty well who i am. Still don't feel i've put anything to work with this.
When i went through my notes though I found one thing i'd like to point out, Nick's "slight rock". Cute little thing, i like that one.
ablosser,
i've rolled before... good times Anyway, sounds great if the frame-things helps you overcome anxiety. Myself i'm not really the anxious type though. Actually i never really understood that rejection and fear thing, though it seems to be a lot of it going around. Unless it's an interview for a job or something, what do i care?
Going back to what ahmedgottliebchan said about that Unbreakable shows you how do it and no excuses... Well, deep intraspection and overcoming anxiety might be great, but it sure seems more like thinking than doing.

i kind of got that "thinking" feel too, but there is still a lot of good doing material in there too... plus, it's our thinking that shapes our actions so, in a way the whole program either directly or indirectly affects our actions, i know it has for me
